01 Who you are dealing with

(ABN —), trading as Global Market, operates this website from 147 Oxford Street, Calamvale QLD 4116. We are the merchant of record for every order placed here: your contract of sale is with us, we take payment, and we are responsible for delivering the goods and for your consumer guarantees.

02 Your account

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to buy from us. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity that happens under your account.

We may suspend or close an account that is used for fraud, chargeback abuse, resale of counterfeit goods, or any unlawful purpose.

03 Prices, currency and GST

All prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) and, where we are registered for GST, include GST. Shipping is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay.

We try to keep pricing accurate, but if a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than supply at that price. We will always contact you first.

04 Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation. If an item turns out to be unavailable after you have paid, we will cancel that line and refund it in full.

We may limit or refuse quantities, and we may decline orders that appear to be for commercial resale.

05 Payment

Payment is processed by our payment providers over an encrypted connection. We never store your full card number on our servers.

If a payment is reversed or charged back without first raising the issue with us, we may suspend the account and recover reasonable costs.

06 Delivery and risk

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Title and risk in the goods pass to you on delivery to the address you supplied.

It is your responsibility to give us a correct, complete delivery address. Re-delivery of a parcel returned because of an incorrect address may incur a further shipping charge.

07 Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies the consumer guarantees in the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. See our Refunds & Returns policy for how to make a claim.

08 Intellectual property

The site, its design, text and imagery are owned by us or our licensors. You may not scrape, copy or republish the catalogue without written permission.

09 Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and other than for liability that cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

10 Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published when you place your order. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
